The IdeaFarm (tm) Associates' Pledge

IdeaFarm (tm) Associates is an economic association that opens doors of opportunity for its members. Membership is open to all who are willing to make its pledge and to meet weekly for dinner. (IdeaFarm (tm) Associates is committed to equal opportunity in employment, housing, commerce, community, and marriage.) "Doors of economic opportunity" is defined broadly to include all of the kinds of opportunity that make life good:

The decision to live unselfishly is the key that opens these doors, and others. IdeaFarm (tm) Associates make this pledge:

I pledge to be good news
for all who come into contact with me,
especially my employer and coworkers,
or, my employees and customers.

This pledge to be good news,
to be a giver not a taker,
is the foundation of my plan
to achieve economic success.

My pledge is public
so that you can encourage me to live up to it,
so that I might receive a full measure of its economic benefits,
and so that my success will encourage you and others...

...to pledge to be good news.

Do you want to put a "master key" into your pocket that opens all kinds of doors to economic opportunity? Step 1 is to make the pledge. Step 2 is to make yourself accountable so that others can easily verify that you are "for real" and not just a faker. Step 3 is to proclaim your pledge whenever and wherever there is a door of opportunity that you want to open.

You accomplish Step 1 when you join IdeaFarm (tm) Associates by clicking the link below. Dues are minimal: 95 cents per month. To pay your dues directly, you must have a credit card or a checking account. But if that is an obstacle, anyone who knows you personally can pay your dues for you. If you are a minor, your membership comes free with the paid membership of your parent or legal guardian.

You accomplish Step 2 by participating in the required weekly dinner gathering in your postal code (zip code). If there are fewer than 16 IdeaFarm (tm) Associates in your postal code, this requirement is waived and your dues payments are refunded. Otherwise, you meet with them for a full "dinner hour" at a healthy inexpensive fast food restaurant. At these meetings, you get to know the other members, and allow them to get to know you. Come as you are, in a suit or in grimy work clothes, without pretense, in a spirit of brotherhood/sisterhood. If you are sincere in your pledge, expect to be welcomed; it is your right. Welcome all others who are sincere in their pledges; it is their right.

You accomplish Step 3 by declaring yourself to be an IdeaFarm (tm) Associate among your family, friends, and business associates, and by placing "IdeaFarm (tm) Associate" on your business card, resume, job application, web site, online community "about me" listings, sales brochures, and advertising.

Become an IdeaFarm (tm) Associate right now. PayPal's verified shipping address feature is used to establish your identity; IdeaFarm (tm) Associates are known to each other by their true, legal names. This information is never released to anyone. It will only be used for administrative purposes: no news, sales, or other spam content will ever be sent to you.

Anyone who knows your full name and postal code will be given yes/no membership verification. (Just email the organizer.) The membership roster (full name only; no addresses) for each postal code is disclosed confidentially to all members in that postal code.

Put "IdeaFarm (tm) Associate (nnnnn)", where "nnnnn" is your postal code, on your resume or business card and in your email signature. When a hiring manager or potential customer asks what that means, recite your pledge. The response will likely be, "That sounds pretty good, but how do I know that you are for real?" Say that IdeaFarm (tm) Associates meet weekly for dinner in a spirit of brotherhood/sisterhood, without pretense, and members who aren't sincere in their pledge lose their memberships. Say that anyone can verify another's membership for free by emailing the organizer. A door to your economic success will fly wide open!

Note: MEMBERSHIP IS FREE until there are 16 members in your postal code (zip code).
(Each dues payment will be manually refunded by the organizer.)
